- use of red contrasts with the grey background and makes the best parts of the review stand out and at first glance allows the audiences' eyes are instantly drawn to it

- symbolic code of fist represents unity and togetherness
- mise-en-scene of costume is relatable to working-class audience
- actor is hegemonically unattractive actor which subverts assumptions of how to sell a film
